Unique experiences for the whole family

How is gold washed? How does an Archimedean screw work? What does a forest xylophone sound like? Families can find the answers to these and many more questions at over 2180 metres on the Bergkastel. Games fun and excitement alternate with relaxation in nature at the Bergkastel. The new Goldwasser is located directly at the exit of the Bergkastel gondola. The entire area is accessible by pushchair.

The Wa(a)ldpark Moslemischen is an ideal destination to spend precious time with the family. In the Mösle recreation park, visitors big and small experience the alpine living world with all their senses: What do the spicy forest herbs smell like? Which bird is singing in the branches? How does the ice-cold water feel on the skin? Real nature-loving boys and girls explore the play and climbing stations on their own. At various wooden play stations, children actively enjoy nature: swinging, romping and playing in the middle of the forest. The stations are connected with walking paths suitable for pushchairs.

Only 50 metres from the new Goldwasser adventure world, is a further highlight for children: A new bike park especially for younger bikers. The four new trails in the kid’s bike park are easy to reach with a magic garden and are suitable for all newcomers to biking. Also a great opportunity to take a detour to the new kid’s loop.

The Zirm trail is ideal for beginners and our recommendation for the first trip on the 3-countries enduro trails. A sophisticated trail design with numerous features allows advanced riders to literally take off, while beginners always have a firm grip under the tyres.

In the stone pine forest of the Radurschl valley, renowned artists from Austria and abroad have created a sculpture park for the whole family in magnificent natural surroundings. A well-surfaced path leads through the Radurschlklamm gorge and along the stream gently up to the largest pine forest in the Eastern Alps. A bark hut true to the original has been reconstructed for guests, both young and old. Secluded spots, lively streams with a water wheel and a small lake invite you to play and linger. Those who still have some strength in their calves can climb up to the Hohenzollernhaus at 2120 metres.

Along the Badsteig in Pfunds, a whole gang of elves has run away this year. High up in the trees or on the water’s edge, various elves are hiding with their animal friends. Let’s see if you can discover all the elves.
