Apart from skiing, carving and boarding, the ski paradise of Reschenpass also earns a top spot in other sporting disciplines: When cross-country skiing on 90 km of tracks in the three countries triangle of Austria-Italy-Switzerland, the enthusiasm knows no boundaries. Where the Nordic walking park and the running region are in the summer months, the Cross country skier can improve their fitness in winter: As the high altitude of the Reschenpass increases the benefits of training for this “fitness movement”.

Away from the slopes, Nauders is still a winter paradise. The magical white landscape surrounding the village and up to the tranquil Reschen Lake is characterised by the influence of different cultures. Numerous cleared winter hiking trails invite you to discover quiet corners and reflective places. The same applies, of course, to snow-shoe hiking. Those who want to experience powder and firn can do so while snow-shoe hiking on one of the most versatile winter routes or leaving tracks on the slopes of the surrounding three-thousand-metre peaks with touring skis. The expert guides at the Nauderer ski school even offer special snow-shoe tours for families.
During a winter hike on over 50 km of prepared trails the spirit soars, not only due to the altitude in Nauders. Away from the slopes, trend sports such ice-climbing, paragliding, ice sailing and snow kiting dominate.
Ice skating, snow tubing & tobogganing
WINTER WONDERLAND NAUDERS
The huge natural ice rink, a tubing run and a “Zipfelbobbahn”, are the attractions in the new Winter Wonderland in Nuaders. The sweet smell of mulled wine and punch beckons from the huts at the ice rink. Every day from 3 pm instead of heading off home with the little ones, it is now “welcome to après skiing!”
While mum and dad enjoy a mulled wine and good music in a unique atmosphere underneath the Naudersberg castle, the kids are having fun ice skating or on the toboggan run. The 8 km long natural toboggan run is a real highlight for families.
Ice skates, curling equipment, bobs and tubes can be hired on site.
